Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Car Crash: UPDATE

Some guys brakes went out and his van hit us while we were turning! it got us right behind the back left tire and spun us into the next lane. I'm really glad that there was no oncoming traffic! I was in the passenger seat and got slammed up against the door. I didn't have time to brace because I had been distracted by these really pretty daffodils down in this gully! John hit his head a little but he's fine and the entire right side of my body hurts but we're cool. the tow truck had to hook to our bumper to get it from resting on the tire. It's drivable but luckily we both had insurance. He was a pretty cool guy! He's a young Christian rapper. His van DEFINITELY needed to be towed.

P.S. The policeman that helped us was so funny! He made my day! While he was helping us he even stopped a guy and gave him a ticket!

Edit: OH. MY. WORD. It feels like I've been arm wrestling with Grendal's mom! and she won... that backstabbing no good dirty rotten pig stealin' great great lizard mongrel...
